Briana joined the Moss laboratory as a PREP Scholar in 2023 after graduating from Northeastern University with a BS in Behavioral Neuroscience. After completing the PREP program in 2024, she is continuing her project as a Research Technician.
In the Moss Laboratories, Briana is studying membrane progesterone receptors and their role in the treatment of postpartum depression. Specifically, her project aims to delineate the role of mPRε and how mPRε levels vary through life stages. In addition to studying and managing her own line of novel mPRε knock out mice, Briana helps manage the lab's mouse colony.
Outside of lab, Briana enjoys reading, hiking with her dog, and exploring New England with her friends.
